Why should I be baptized?
Check out Romans 6:1-11. When you choose to go under the water, you identify with Christ who went into the grave. When you come up out of the water, you identify with His resurrection. Baptism signifies what has already happened to us spiritually. Our old identity as a sinner is gone, and we rise with a new identity in Christ. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision for Christ.
Why should I dedicate my child?
A child is a God-given gift. When you decide to dedicate your child, it signifies your promise to raise your child in a Christ-led home and church where he or she can come to know, love, and serve Jesus. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it." It also signifies a commitment by the people of Living Water to provide a loving, biblical community that supports and prays for your family.
